Rachael Gooberman-Hill is Professor of Health and Anthropology at the University of Bristol, and Co-Chair of the UK Committee on Research Integrity. She leads interdisciplinary research on pain, intervention development and evaluation, health technology, and clinical decision-making. She has led initiatives to improve processes that underpin high-quality research, including in funding processes and career development. Through her role on the UK Committee on Research Integrity, she promotes a research system grounded in the five principles set out in the UK’s Concordat to Support Research Integrity: rigour; transparency and open communication; honesty; care and respect; and accountability.
