Conference Venue - HKU

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is the territory’s oldest tertiary institution, with a history stretching over a hundred years. HKU has gained international recognition for its accomplishments as a research-led comprehensive university comprising ten faculties with over 28,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students, and almost 7,500 academic staff.

The 6th World Conference on Research Integrity will be held at the Grand Hall in the Lee Shau Kee Lecture Centre, which is a focal point of the Centennial Campus of HKU. The Grand Hall, completed in September 2012, has been built as a modern and multi-functional box-in-box structure, and well-equipped with modern lighting and audiovisual facilities such as built-in cinema projection system for real-time video recording. It can accommodate more than 900 participants and will be used for all plenary sessions.

Lecture rooms near the Grand Hall will be used for parallel sessions and poster area. Please refer to the detailed programme for the venue of each session, and the programme book for the venue map.

  (1) By MTR

The most convenient way to reach the Grand Hall is from the MTR station (HKU Station – Exit C1). Alternatively, participants may exit from Exit A2 but the exit is further away from the conference venue. Participants who are staying at hotels near the campus are also recommended to enter the University through the HKU MTR station.
