Plenary sessions will vary in number of speakers. Keynote speakers (Farthing, Ioannidis, Ariely) will have 30 minutes to speak. Other plenary speakers should plan to talk for 20 minutes.
Preparing Your Talk
Please prepare your presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint (version 2000 or later). Only presentations formatted for PC computers will be accepted. Please make sure that your file name ends with .ppt or .pps
Please name your file with your last name and the day of your presentation.
Example:
SmithTuesday.ppt
If you are giving more than one presentation on the same day, please use the format:
SmithTuesday1.ppt
SmithTuesday2.ppt
Please bring your presentation on a CD or USB Memory Stick. Only these formats will be accepted.
Presentation Equipment and Procedures
The plenary hall will be equipped with the following:
- 1 large screen
- 1 LCD projector
- 1 laptop computer (PC) with CD player
- 1 podium microphone
- 1 wireless lavalier microphone
- 1 laser pointer
All plenary presentations will use computers provided by the Conference organization. No personal laptop or notebook computers will be allowed for plenary presentations.
A technician will be available in the plenary hall prior to your session. Please arrive 15 minutes early. The technician will load your presentation on the Conference host computers, run through it, and check it.
